| | | | | "Teams and Solutions" | | | | Thumbs Up! | We are fortunate here at Farnsworth to have a diverse, robust community of students, faculty and families. Our team draws on its collective strengths. While we celebrate our successes we also take strength from our school as a loving, supportive community.
This year has been one of soaring successes. We have been honored by the St. Paul School District, the Minnesota Academic Excellence Foundation, and the U.S. Department of Education.
We were invited to attend the launch of STS-115 and had two separate events featuring | | Recent photo of the International Space Station (ISS) as STS-114 crew returned home | space shuttle astronauts. Many of us went on off-site adventures that enriched and advanced the academic community at Farnsworth.
We are convinced that our focus of aerospace and aviation is an effective educational solution. It engages a child's imagination while educating them. They learn to problem-solve and become effective leaders of diverse teams. They also have a great time learning new skills that will travel with them long after they leave our school, and long after graduation.
Our aerospace and aviation | | Dr. Vincent leading Astronaut Stefanyshyn-Piper to the gym. | focus encompasses a wide range of disciplines. From designing rockets to designing spacesuits--looking at problems through the aerospace lens leads to creativity and innovation. We try to focus with a wide angle lens on all of the plausibilities for our students.
With hard work and enthusiasm, our students, faculty and families have achieved another top-flight year at Farnsworth Aerospace Elementary.
